Interior design and fashion design, two creative worlds that may seem different, yet come together beautifully through innovation and material excellence. At Jakarta Fashion Week 2026, AICA Indonesia proved how high-quality interior materials can elevate a fashion presentation, creating a more immersive and spectacular audience experience. Throughout the venue, AICA showcased a variety of premium materials such as HPL ToughTop, CERARL, and SPC, applied across multiple areas from the main runway and VIP Lounge to the public spaces. Curious to see how AICA brought design innovation to the country’s biggest fashion event? Let’s take a closer look!

As a main partner of JFW 2026, HDII Jakarta presented a striking installation near the VIP Lounge entrance. The concept, Cultural Motion, highlighted Indonesia’s rich cultural identity through bold batik motifs. A standout feature was the Roze Bronze HPL from AICA MB (MBM-402), a metallic-pattern surface that added a modern, stylish touch to the cultural narrative being showcased.

In the regular area, AICA invited visitors to experience an interactive booth installation that reimagines a staircase as a stage for fashion, movement, and engagement. Designed with a spiral formation inside a circular zone, the space presented a sense of depth and motion, futuristic yet intimate. Continuing a design dialogue from earlier works, this installation reflected the evolving intersection between physical and digital worlds, envisioning how design innovation may shape the future of living.

VIP pass holders were welcomed into an elevated interior experience built using AICA materials. The walls featured stone-pattern HPL in a refined blend of light and dark gray, giving the lounge a luxurious, modern ambiance. The flooring was also finished with AICA’s SPC, bringing functionality, durability, and elegance together for an exclusive relaxation zone after each runway show.

Who would expect that the sleek matte-white surface dominating both runway and seating areas was crafted from AICA’s own material? The AI 95 EG HPL from the AICA MB collection provided a clean, refined visual canvas, allowing designers’ collections to shine while reinforcing a polished and cohesive stage aesthetic.

Making a return after its showcase at Jakarta Interior Design Festival (JIDF) 2025, Mirror Mirror on HPL became one of the most memorable artistic experiences at JFW 2026. From the outside, the structure appears like a simple box, HPL-clad, pixelated, and understated. But step inside, and mirrors reveal a limitless reflection that symbolizes the expansive possibilities of digital reality. The stark contrast between exterior simplicity and interior immersion represents the transition from physical to virtual worlds, sparking imagination and curiosity.
Through this collaboration, AICA Indonesia does not stand merely as a backdrop. Fashion and interior design now move forward together, shaping a lifestyle that is bold, expressive, and forward-thinking. By integrating advanced material technology with creative direction, JFW 2026 becomes a playground of textures, colors, and innovation, a space where ideas grow into new design possibilities.
AICA Indonesia is proud to contribute to this prestigious fashion stage. This collaboration marks not only a grand year-end moment, but a progressive step toward the future of Indonesian design.
