After showcasing its translucent ceiling innovation at last year’s ARCH:ID, AICA makes a strong return to one of the most highly anticipated architecture and interior design exhibitions of the year. In 2026, AICA joins forces with two prominent industry names—VIRO and BLUM—to present inspiring design concepts that blend innovation, craftsmanship, and functionality.

In collaboration with Häfele, VIRO introduces #TenuNyaman, a concept that brings forward the beauty of rattan elements across both the exterior and interior of the booth. The design emphasizes warmth and texture, creating a welcoming environment that challenges conventional perceptions of prefab modular structures.

As explained by Johan Yang, Executive Vice President of VIRO, the idea is to redefine prefab architecture, proving that it doesn’t have to feel rigid, industrial, or low-cost. Instead, it can embody luxury, comfort, and strong character.

This vision came to life through a booth that successfully secured the Best Booth Award at ARCH:ID 2026. Combining modern luxury with refined traditional craftsmanship, the installation showcased a harmonious blend of materials and design. Supported by AICA and Häfele’s product innovations, along with VIRO’s creative direction, the booth delivered a visually striking and immersive experience that captured the attention of visitors throughout the exhibition.

Meanwhile, BLUM presented House of Blum, a concept designed to reflect the essence of everyday living. The installation recreated various home environments from living spaces to kitchens and storage areas, allowing visitors to experience both the functionality and atmosphere of a thoughtfully designed home.

AICA’s flagship products played a key role across the installation, seamlessly integrated with BLUM’s hinges and hardware systems. From solid-color HPL surfaces to ToughTop applications, each element was carefully applied across kitchen sets, cabinets, cupboards, and tables, highlighting both durability and aesthetic appeal.
By the end of the exhibition, the booth had drawn significant attention, with hundreds of visitors engaging with and appreciating the detailed presentation of materials and design solutions.
We extend our gratitude to all collaboration partners who contributed to this year’s successful showcase. With innovation and collaboration at its core, AICA looks forward to returning with even more inspiring concepts at future ARCH: ID events.
