In the previous episode, we discussed the CELSUS Flat Line in terms of product, advantages, and differences from Regular HPL. This time, we'll further explore the differences between CELSUS Flat Line and CELSUS Regular, or what could be called its cousin in the CELSUS line!

Regular CELSUS

Celsus (TAS) is an HPL product equipped with anti-fingerprint technology. This feature helps reduce the appearance of fingerprints on the HPL surface, making it appear cleaner and easier to maintain. In addition to maintaining cleanliness, Celsus' anti-fingerprint technology also helps reduce light reflection on the HPL surface. This allows the patterns and colors on the HPL to remain clearer, more vibrant, and more elegant.

CELSUS Flat Line

Meanwhile, Celsus Flatline (TSM) is characterized by a smooth satin texture that feels smooth and soft to the touch. Its surface offers a modern matte appearance, not too glossy but still reflects light subtly to create a clean and elegant interior atmosphere. This smooth satin texture also provides comfort when used, making it suitable for various interior applications such as kitchen sets, cabinets, wardrobes, wall panels, and even custom furniture.

Besides its antibacterial surface, one of the most significant differences between CELSUS Flat Line and Celsus Regular is its finish, which tends to be more satin or soft. You might be wondering, what exactly is the function of this satin surface? Celsus Flat Line's smooth satin texture helps reduce the contrast between fingerprints and the material's surface, so it remains cleaner even when touched frequently.

Celsus Flat Line is also designed to provide a durable surface, is easy to clean, and maintains its appearance even over a long period of use. The combination of material quality and aesthetic value makes this variant suitable for various interior concepts, from modern minimalist to contemporary to Scandinavian styles.

The easiest way to differentiate Celsus Flat Line from Celsus Regular is by their codes. Celsus Regular's code begins with TAS-, while Celsus Flat Line's code begins with TSM-. Because Celsus Flat Line also has a different finish than other AICA HPLs, the Celsus Flat Line code is marked with -C.

The main function and advantages of both products remain the same: helping to maintain a clean, tidy, and comfortable surface appearance for daily use. Both CELSUS Regular and CELSUS Flat Line are equipped with anti-fingerprint technology, which helps minimize the appearance of fingerprints on the HPL surface.

The difference lies in the visual characteristics and finish desired. If you're looking for a cleaner, matte, and soft-to-the-touch look, CELSUS Flat Line could be the right choice. However, if you prefer a CELSUS look with a more general and familiar character, similar to typical HPL, CELSUS Regular remains the ideal choice.

Ultimately, the choice between CELSUS Flat Line and CELSUS Regular can be tailored to your design needs, the character of the room, and your desired visual preferences. Although they come from the same line, each has its own unique characteristics that can create different interior finishes.
